Accreditation is the single most consequential thing to check before enrolling anywhere. ACLAS publishes both sides of the picture, including the limits, and this page reproduces that record in full.

This is the disclosure ACLAS makes to every prospective student. It is reproduced here word for word, because paraphrasing a regulatory statement changes it.
ACLAS holds ISO 29995:2021 certification from AQS, full accreditation from the International Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (QAHE), and full online accreditation from the European Association for Higher Education Advancement (EAHEA). These credentials affirm our commitment to high-quality education. However, ACLAS is not accredited by the U.S. Department of Education and is not regulated by the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission (GNPEC). ACLAS does not admit Georgia residents.
Our programs are designed as professional development and skills-based education. The recognition and acceptance of ACLAS degrees and certificates vary by jurisdiction, institution, employer, and professional context. We make no representations or warranties regarding governmental recognition, accreditation equivalency, or transferability of credits to other institutions. Prospective students are solely responsible for verifying the suitability and acceptance of our credentials for their intended purposes, including employment, licensure, or further education.
ACLAS focuses on providing practical, career-relevant education that enhances professional skills and competencies. Our value proposition centers on employer recognition and real-world applicability rather than traditional academic accreditation pathways.

Accreditation and certification
Two are institutional accreditations, one is a certification against an ISO standard, and one applies to programs and courses. They are not interchangeable.

Verification
Four routes, from a free self-service lookup to formal apostille authentication. Employers and agencies usually want the first two.
A free public lookup where anyone holding a certificate ID can confirm an ACLAS award. Submitted information is used only for verification and handled in line with FERPA standards — ACLAS states that, because it receives no federal funding, FERPA is not legally binding on it, but that it adheres to those standards voluntarily.
Independent third-party degree verification covering more than 195 countries and 50,000 institutions. Students submit a request and Qualification Check confirms authenticity directly with ACLAS. Verification fees are charged by Qualification Check, not by ACLAS.
ACLAS credentials are listed on the International Evaluation and Certification Center platform, which lets employers and universities authenticate them and obtain standardised international evaluation reports. An IECC report is available as a digital PDF.
Hague Convention authentication for degrees and transcripts, valid in more than 120 countries. State-issued documents are apostilled by the relevant Secretary of State; federal documents by the U.S. Department of State.
